A Sweeper
So this came to my possession recently. A NF sweepster sweeper. I have it mounted on a cub cadet 147. works well. Needs a new belt. If anyone knows were i could find one. As well as the spiroid gear within the E-Lift needs to be replaced. So if anyone has one of those let me know. Here are some pics for your enjoyment.

That thing looks nice! I'd like to get one for my collection. I'm not sure where to get the correct belt, other than take it with you to the store and try to match one. But, I do know where to get the new gears for the e-lift. Follow the link below and you can get both gears new, as well as most anything else for the inside of the lift.

Thanks for the link. Was hoping to find a good used one if someone has one. If not then I shall purchase a new one. DO you know if all the E-lifts came with a clutch? or did some come without one? I believe some have a bolt at the end of the telescoping tube that allowed to rod to turn if too much resistance in its actuation occurred.

That I am not sure of. I've only had one apart to find out the condition of the gears and was linked to that site to find them new. Hopefully someone else has had several apart and can tell you if they are all the same or not.

Typically the spgroid gears fail first. Your chances of finding "good used" are slim to none. And if you happen to come across any they will likely be on borrowed time.
In short, if you want to continue using the oem actuator pony up and buy new. They are probably built better than the old 1s.

I would say also invest in a spring assist. That baby is masssive but probably looks heavier than it really is. Congrats that is Really cool

Sweepsters are great! When using it just set the brushes so they just touch, otherwise you will wear off the brushes prematurely.

It has a sleeve hitch on it already as well we a 3 point. Thats how i found out the spiroid is dying cause i had the spring assist tight enough that is disengaged.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
