Default Seals that can be replaced without hydro disassembly
Hello - I have a 1450. Split the tractor to replace the infamous cork gasket. A couple threads have referenced that there are three seals that can be replaced without disassembling the hydro pump.

Could anyone tell me which seals they are and does anyone have any tips for removing these old seals?

Are the seals leaking? If not, leave them alone.

The only seal you can't replace without disassembly is the Trunion Shaft Seal.

As John says, if not broke don't fix em.
But if leaking,much success is had by screwing a small sheet metal screw in the metal part of the seal and just pulling it out and putting in new ones.
Do not damage the shafts or the bores the seal is in.
Some drill a hole for the screw, others use a sharp scratch awl or ice pick.
Clean the areas thoroughly first!

Because any time you disturb a seal, there is a chance for a leak. Believe me, if it ain't broke, don't try and fix it.
