Back in action
Hello. Is been a while since I posted. I recently put a new battery in my cub and this is actually the first time I've really got to run it hard in over 2 years. After cleaning the gummed up carb, I used it to cut my field. As the sun was setting, I noticed that the muffler was literally glowing red.
Right before i noticed that it started running a little rough. I turned it off for a few minutes then started back cutting and the glowing came back. What could cause this?

Sounds like you may have carb problems. Glowing red exhaust usually points to a lean condition.
I see that new to you tractor. Come and get the box blade anytime. We just have to get a tree off of it.
