Default 82 Series Grill Guard

Here's what I come up with for a Grill Guard for my 982 and will fit any 82 series garden tractor.

That looks great Bill
I take it will not work with the mule drive installed?

If it would, where is the order form?

Thanks zippy1 ! The mule drive fits up between the frame & bumper brackets just like the cyclops style I make. There are spacer blocks welded inside the bumper brackets that replace the bolts that your mule drive slide up on to. It's a nice tight fit. Thanks again!

Looks good Bill!!! And I mow with mine on and it will never be removed!! I tested it against a tree already tree lost lol. No damage to tractor at all i wasnt flying or nothing like it but the tree is permanently marked lol. Thanks Bill for saving my plastics on my Cyclops tractor, yes i drive a bit hurriedly but i smile as i ride!! Im sure this version is as strong as the Cyclops one!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
