Default 1965 Cub Cadet 100

I've been adding options to my 100 for years. At this point it has lights, fenders, creeper, hydraulic lift, rear pto with right angle gearbox and pulley, a solid mower deck, and some rear weights. I also have a sleeve hitch for it. The paint has been touched up over the years but it's not the prettiest. What do you think the whole package would bring without parting it out? Ryan

What he said. What's the belt running? Does that come with it too?

Very nice 100! You will never ever get the money out of those options that you added if you sell it like that.

lights = $100
fenders = $200 at least
hydro lift = $300 at least
creeper = $250
rear pto & belt drive = probably $300 to $500

I say keep it and be proud of what you have. If you need to sell it, pull them all off and list them separate. Sorry, but that's how the world of Cubbing goes.

Thanks, I'm hanging onto it for now. It's running a New Holland no 6 mill.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
