Default LT1045 No move
Was mowing fine on this old mower, until drive stopped. Will not move in forward or reverse. New to maintenance on this, guessing would that be a drive belt? Easy fix? TIA.

Also, is a genuine Cub Cadet belt suggested, or can I get away with a generic 78.5" v-belt?

From looking up "LT1045" there are several versions of this model. Different Drive Belts used based on the version. The only way to narrow down the correct part, is the Factory Code, ie: 13Axxxxxxx.

The OEM Drive Belt is 754-0461-----> 954-0461. It is 78" x 1/2". Since the belt does not twist nor bend, I would personally buy a good aftermarket belt instead of paying the CC Price.
