model 60 year?
The key and chain arrived. Tomorrow I will try to get them on and see if I can get it going. I have not figured out the year as of yet. The serial number is 12332N. Does any one happen to have an idea of what year it is?

The best I can come up with is, that they were made between 1968 to 1971.
Member Myron Bounds might be the one to answer this question.

Model 60 Serial #
As with many IH product kinds, IH began their serial number series with 7501 as they did with the Model 60. The 1968 model year began with 7501 and went through 35,125. That means your serial number most likely came off the assembly line Between 01 October and December 31, 1967. It was also likely part of the pre-positioned stock shipped in advance to a dealership for introduction day.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
