New user from Eastern Kentucky
Hey all. I don't actually own this Cub Cadet tractor that brought me here. The farm I run does. My employers are wonderful people that have owned and operated the farm since 1980. He is a retired school teacher from the local High School and she retired from a company that built aircraft parts. Through the last 40 years the farm has been known to produce the sweetest black berries and blueberries around. Along with a slew of other garden produce that was and is sold at the local farmer's market.
He is now very ill and bed ridden. She is his full carer, and they have me to run the farm. For the last 4 years I have done, alone, what used to take three people. Obviously due to his illness and costs associated, money is tight fir them. I do what I can to keep some revenue coming in, but winter is always tough. I came here for help and information when it came time for me to replace the tired Kohler Courage on the farm's 2011 CC i1042 tractor. I was able to modify the mower enough that the 15hp B&S I had works and runs everything as did the OEM engine. Now I have an issue with the electric pto clutch and have posted in the proper place.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!".
