Cool Kwik Way loader- auction find

Went to an auction today and scored this loader for $225. It is fairly complete except it has no pump and the support beams are wrong. Not really sure what I will do with it yet. Some people at the auction claimed they heard it came off a sears. It may end up on my 682, my Deutz Allis 914 (Simplicity) or I may get a different tractor for it. What do you guys think? Thanks.

$225??? You deserve a big "F" word for that! We need a section for award on this forum, the name of this one can be "The most lucky mother flower of the year" and Mr IH Ben got his name all over it for sure!

Well done

Thanks for the replies guys, I am pretty happy with the deal. I looked up the model number and confirmed it was originally a sears. Under normal circumstances, I would look for a sears tractor to put it on, but it looks like someone started modifying it to fit a high wheel Case tractor and never finished (there was a Case 444 at the auction too) I was thinking a 129 or 1250 would be a good candidate. They are usually pretty cheap, hydro and I wouldn't need the hydro lift or big engine of other models

You did well on that one, I don't know about now, but Kwikway used to be great to deal with on parts if you don't have the means to build what you need at home. Good luck.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
