Doug

Where are they doing this trade in and do the tools need to be Milwaukee or will they take other brands?

only Milwaukee 14.4 to 18 volt tools. any place that sells them will take the trade in.

you must have one tool and 2 batterys to do the trade.

the new and old stuff is like night and day.

I have this new set on my work truck. love um. and the new hammer drill option is sweet. the new Lithium ION batterys are the way to go.

my 14.4 battery would run drywall screws in for 4 or 5 hrs when new.
the ION's will run screws for 2 to 2.5 working days.
the drill I could get 10 to 15 holes drilled (3/8) with the 14.4
the ION 50 holes easy.
the ION batterys give you 100% power till they run to a stop. its like full power and it just stops. the 14.4 battery would run slower and slower till it stops.

I switched over to Milwaukee tools last year from DeWalt. SOOOOOO much happier with their stuff. Doug is right, night and day difference with the Lithium Ion batteries!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
