Default 1976 CC 800 Kohler engine manual
Greetings, fellow yellow white &red paint enthusiasts:

Over the winter, I'm planning on some restore work and maintenance on my 800 CC. Does anyone know if there is an archive,etc for that 8HP Kohler engine?

I have to burnish the points 2 or 3 times a year to keep it running.

It's in our tech section, under tractors. Kohler "K" series engine manual. If you are having trouble with the points burning out. It's probably time to replace the condenser.... along with the plug, plug wire, and points.

I seem to sort of very vaguely remember that cars with bad condensers would "eat" points quickly.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
