do you mean a rear hyd remote like the front might have... if so do you have front ones? unless your trying to make them act independent of the front its easy. just "T" the fittings at the valve and run them back. xtreme sells a kit to do this. i got the fittings off epay and hard lined it to the rear and installed couplers into the rear hitch plate just like the are on front. xtremes kit uses hoses instead of hard line

Did you happen to post any pics of this mod? Especially how you mounted the connections. Sounds pretty straightforward.

But, what do you use them for?

An 1812 came from the factory with dual hydraulics, so yes it has front remotes.

havent used mine yet but have some ideas just neede to get my lazt butt off the couch. no i didnt think of pics while i did it . but pretty sure if you google rear hydraulics youll find some... and yes was very simple. would be a no brainer with hoses as i said i hardlined mine for no reason other than i had to make all the hardlines as i had none at all when i built tractor and added power steering

I thought it would come handy if I were to build a rear cherry picker type lift to move big stuff around the yard. with the hoses going back is there enough room by the trunion? I can see where steel lines would take up a lot less space. got any pics of your projects

I would suggest running on the opposite side of the Trunion Linkage.

For some reason, I think the kits from xtreme are made to go down the left hand side of the frame.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
