IH cadet 182
I have an International cadet 182 that was given to me the motor runs good will idle for hours, but when i put it in gear and let out on clutch it wants to stall out the motor. Sometimes it will stall itself out when in neutral if the clutch pedal is released. Any suggestions would be appreiciated.

Sounds like the drive belt isn't routed correctly or there is a bad idler pulley under there, or the transmission could be bad.

Any idea of where I can get a belt diagram. I just bought this mower for my 8 year old son so i haven't done much with it yet. The guy I bought it from said it ran fine but it would stall out when you turned the deck on. I cant even get it to move. Do these mowers have a clutch in the tranny or just the idler pulley that disengages?
