Obscure new one...1986 1914 Super Cub Cadet
This guy followed me home last night. Homeowner said it needed a starter or solenoid, but it cranked when I put the Noco on. New battery and it'll run on ether.
I have the carb soaking now...it sat for 7 years, and you can tell.

It has the 986 model code. I had hoped to find a 3 point and rear PTO in back, but only the front hydraulics exist. No PS either, so this is about identical to my 982 (984 code) minus the fact the dealer swapped this back to a Kohler engine (appears to be a KT17, will confirm tonight).

According to the CCC feature guide, the 1914 (986) should have had all the features ie: Dual Hydraulics, Rear PTO, and 3 Point Cat 0 hitch.
Maybe someone took them (rear PTO & 3 PT) off, prior to your ownership.

I thought about looking at that one, but the no power steering kind of ended it for me. Didn't he advertise it as having a Command swap?

He said Kohler v twin but as soon as he opened the hood I knew it was a KT17 or M18. It's certainly a KT17 and I doubt *it's a series II but haven't proven yet it's a series 1.

That was a steal! Not many of these were built.
Check this out, mine was 4 down on the line than yours was. DSCN3864.jpg It should have the a hole in the tunnel cover for the PTO switch like this as all 1914's came with an Onan B48G, front remotes, rear PTO & cat 0. DSCN3853.jpg
