Wiring Diagram for LT 1042??
I have a Cub Cadet Lawn tractor LT 1042, Mfg Date: 12, 2006. Model #
13AX11CG710, Ser. # 1L116H10142. The 747-04307 or 747-04857 Belt keeper Rod came off and got into the blades. In the process it took out two black wires (part in a loom) with a male connector to a female connector that has a bright blue and a white wire coming out of the wiring harness. The wire was probably 12 inches or so; don't know for sure as it was cut. I cannot find any place where the wire should go. The motor will not start, as if the battery is dead. I need to replace the Rod and the wire and I need to know where the wire should connect so the motor will start. Any help? Thanks. |

Here is a link to a PDF you can download of the Service manual. The wiring chart is way down towards the end of the manual. Save the file and print it out. Oh, welcome to OCC..

Electrical problems
Thanks for the reply. It is much appreciated, however I'm unable to open that link. Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but can't seem to get it to work.
Any further suggestions? I really do appreciate your help! |

That's the Information bar right click on that and select download and you'll be set then.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
