Default Gravel Spreader Or Manure Spreader!??

How about BOTH!!

I built this a bunch of years ago. Its original intent was to spread horse manure in the pasture, but it is even better at grooming the driveway.

The 1000 kind of does not like handling it, the Super is a much better choice to pull it.

Either tractor would handle it if the land were level.

I mostly pull it when it has been dry for several days.

Before;

After one pass;

Just starting;

After one pass;

Another CADplans original!!

I would not need this, if I could train the horse to "spread" the deposits rather than using the same spots all the time!!

The first one I built as a prototype to get all the angles right, I gave to our farrier.

After she used it on her pasture, the next time she came back, she asked me to marry her!! LOL

She pulls hers with a Toyota pickup, her lawnmower wouldn't hardly move it.

We ain't gonna say what BRAND TRACTOR she has!!

No manure, just want to grade the gravel driveway to the shop.

You can borrow the wheels anytime.

Pretty great invention!

You were right not to marry the Farrier Lady... Can't very well marry a woman who drives the wrong color tractor.

That's pretty cool and it does a nice job! (can you re-tool it to take care of dog manure ? If so I'll take two.) .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
