Kansas City cubber!
Hey how its going all. I just found out about this site from Keith LeJeune and have to say its great. I like the normal layout of the forum versus how some of the others are.
I got started buying a 108 to pull with and that has blossumed into about 6 cubs including consecutive serial numbered OCC's 14,882 and 14,883. My Dad as well as my kids enjoy the cubs but I lost my Dad in Feb. The OCC's were his and I will show them in his memory. I look forward to learning and contributing to this forum! Randy

I believe I am going to really like this site. If you post something at the other place your post gets lost 6 pages back before you get back to it. With this layout Information will be much easier to search for.
The WMAT&MA or the Western Missouri Antique tractor and Machinery Association show in Adrian Mo. is June 26, 27, and 28th. The feature tractor is the IH farm equipment family of machinery. I think that means our cubs will be welcome! http://www.wmatma.com/page2.html I will post it over in the show section too. I will get some pics up soon, I have just been busy lately. Randy

Randy.
That's the beauty of this forum we discuss Only Cub Cadets and we all seem to run through it at least once a day. Although we have a new server, and we are just getting back on our feet we have come a long way. No One will ever bash you for being a little, you may say 'ignorant' about something, as we all are ignorant about some things I say this because I see some bashing on another site as well. Again, Welcome and feel free to join in.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Seems to be a very friendly bunch here. Looking forward to plenty chatting about cubs. I used to do all my cub chatting with my Dad but lost him to cancer in february so you guys are gonna have to fill in. I know it won't be the same but its just gonna have to do!
Randy

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
