Default 782 3 point lift bar

SORRY GANG…left out the 3pt hitch part.

Can anyone please post a pic of a 782 lift bar FOR A 3 POINT HITCH with the overall length? I believe they’re different than the regular sleeve hitch lift bar. Thanks in advance

First, welcome to OCC........

You can simply use a straight bar, using the dimensions in the image. I have been using the straight bar on 782 for 20+ yrs.

That red one is a lift bar for a 582.

I understand the 782 to use a straight one. Also, I think the smaller hole should be counterbored or sunk for the clevis pin head.

Here's what should fit a 1/2 clevis pin.

I need info on the correct one for a 3 point. I’ve got the numbers for the standard sleeve hitch. I believe they’re different

He said he wasn't looking for the sleeve hitch one (I know the purists like to call the sleeve hitch/Brinly adapted setup a 3 point, but that was really a misnomer on IH's part by today's standards).

I’m installing the true 3 point set up; not the Brinly sleeve hitch. I gotta come up with the lift bar that runs from the hydraulic link under the tower back to the hitch plate

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
