GT 2186 headlight mystery
Hi folks - update on my last post https://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/...ad.php?t=59094), I've run the heck out of the machine since I last posted, and the loud running and knocking hasn't ever returned. Hasn't burned a drop of oil (golden clear) or tranny fluid. Told my mower guy about it and he's scratching his head too.
Meanwhile, I was mowing into the evening last week, with the headlights on for about 45 minutes, when the headlights blinked off & on about three times and then went out. Nothing else out of the ordinary. Got around to looking into it today, and now I'm puzzled. Bulbs are fine, both fuses are fine, all connections are clean and secure, no frayed/exposed wires to be found (so far, but from the headlights to the main harness all is well), all other electrical components working just fine. EDITED to add - headlights still do not work, it wasn't just that night. Thoughts?

Time to get the DVM and a Wiring Schematic out, and start tracing down the issue.
