LED Bulbs
Just replaced the incandescent bulbs in my Cub with LEDs do not need to turn blades on now I just incinerate the grass with the light

I wanted to get some of those kind that plug into the OEM sockets but I'm worried about how well they hold up to moisture...

What kind of moisture are you talking about ? Rain , hosing down the Cub or condensation
I previously had a HDS 2155 and never got any moisture in the headlight area and my current GT 2550 does not get any moisture/water penetration only dust Oz

Just atmospheric moisture mostly. I keep the tractor covered when not in use so it doesn't get direct rain or anything.
Most of the "plug n play" LED bulbs I see look like someone chopped the bulb part off the plug and inserted a circuit board with LEDs on it. Just doesn't look very water proof to me but maybe I'm wrong...

Honestly I've never had a problem with the sealed halogens in my stuff. Cyclops could probably be a little brighter.

LEDs are brighter, but if you are working with snow or ice, then they do not melt it off. If you can get some heat off of the engine, then it is not a problem, but if the wind is blowing, then you may find limited visibility from them as opposed to incandescent lights. My truck has LEDs and now I know why the previous owner put a long light bar on the front of it. Just like anything else, it has its own purpose.
