Help on Fire 7 tablet memory transfer
My Fire tablet gives the message "low on memory"
I bought and installed a 16 GB simm card but don't know how to move files to the new memory. Can I plug the tablet into my computer and maybe extract files to it for storage? It looks like the tablet charge cord would fit - but will it let the smoke out of something? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Steve |

This is a Cub Cadet forum. Why are you asking about a "Fire 7 tablet" ?

I wouldn't mind helping, but have no clue what a "Fire 7 Tablet" is.

I've made some progress with Google search but still don't have it 100%.
My 7 tablet was 8GB but the new 7's are 16GB for $50. Here is a description of the 7. https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-38...B&gclsrc=aw.ds |

Just how much free memory do you have on the simm card? It's one thing to increase storage but sometimes you need to look at the RAM.

The tablet had 8Gb total with a portion of that for the operating system RAM and most of the rest for local storage. APPS take up some space. It has blocked any further downloads at this point.Total remaining memory is ~60MB and nothing transferred to the new 16GB SIMM card - so far.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
