Cub Cadet GT3200 differential lock adjustments?
Hi all,
I've been using my GT3200 this winter and had to use the differential lock pedal on a few occasions. I jacked up the tractor, his the pedal and both wheels locked up nice. However when I'm on the ground on occasion it feels like its not engaging all the time. I looked under at the cable, it seemed fairly slack even when pushed down. I didn't look long enough to see if there is any adjustable points. (Didn't feel like laying on ice at night after being on it all day) would anyone know if there is adjustments able to be made to it? I'll try and get some photos of it unlocked and locked next time I am on it. Thanks in advance for any advice given. You guys have been great help on here! |

You can adjust under the left floorboard near where the cable attaches to the pedal. DO NOT ADJUST TOO TIGHT as this can cause D/L actuator fork to rub against the D/L Collar Assy and cause the fork to be worn.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
