Default 1211 shakes

my 1211 has some awful vibration between idle and wot, i know this is to be expected with a single cylinder but i was checking it over last night and it appears the rear of the engine is down causing a misalignment. i checked parts tree and the iso mounts for this tractor are no longer available so i guess i will go with solid mounts but does anybody know if the solid mounts Jeff sells for the ql tractors will work? it looks like they have different part numbers. thanks

I believe they will. I will go look at my tractor here after bit and compare to some QL stuff, but I'm pretty sure they will work. The ones on my 1050 are tight, so I've not been worried about them. When I go to put that new engine in, I was thinking I'd get a set and install them.

He looked up a 1282/680 which is the same machine. For some reason, the 1211 look up doesn't cross it correctly. I've seen that a bunch on these mid/late 80's machines.

I don't really know why the 1050 uses a different style mount. That's odd.

Looks like all the 82 styled machines are more like the QL's. I don't see any reason why the solid mounts won't work. I bet the only reason that the part numbers are different between the QL's and the later machines mount is that CCC bought them from a different manufacturer than IH did, or the are made out of another material. I would put money on that they are identical, except from different supplier.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
