A "Fishy" story
Gramps was out fishing one afternoon, with no luck at all. Every time he threw out his line, the fish would just strip the bait from the hook, hardly moving the bobber at all.
Finally, Gramps was down to his last cricket, and sure enough, hook got stripped clean. Just as he was about to pack up and go home, a small snake came swimming by, with a frog in its mouth. Gramps grabbed Sneaky Snake out of the water, and took the frog from Sneaky. "Sorry, Mr Snake, but I need that frog more than you." Well, Sneaky Snake gave gramps such a sad little puppy dog eyes look that Gramps gave Sneaky a couple of sips of his beer before turning him loose. On his first cast, gramps hooked a huge bass, reeled him in and threw the line out again...WHAM! Another big bass. Same on his 3rd cast. By now, gramps had enough fish! and was about to leave when he felt this little tap. Tap. Tap. On his waders. gramps looked down, and there was Sneaky with another frog in his mouth.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
