3 point hitch
Does anyone know if Ruegg makes hitches for regular garden tractors? Like a Cub Cadet 1811? Thanks for any info!

Thanks Tim... Yeah, I have one of Xtreme's early versions on my 2072... I'm not as impressed as I am with the Ruegg I have on my 1572. If I can't find an original or get a Ruegg, I may go without...

He only makes one for the SGT.
I don't see any reason why you can't put an SGT hitch on a GT though... Might have to notch the frame in the rear like the SGT's are, but it should work. I'd suggest talking to Rescue11. He has developed an all new 3pt for the GT's. Don't know if he's ready to "mass produce" them yet, but it is FAR superior even to the SGT hitch. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
