Default Pull behind driveway grader
My driveway is roughly 1000 feet long and I would like to make something to smooth it out. If you have made your own grader please post pictures and help me with your great ideas

I bought a Box Blade that attaches by Sleeve Hitch on my Cub Cadet for smoothing dirt/stones/etc.

I bought it at a Flea Market, no nameplates that I ever found, no idea who made it. Only one I've ever seen.

I have a Brinly box scraper and a Craftsman (Agri-Fab) landscape rake, both for the sleeve hitch, that work out good.

However I normally use a larger tractor and box blade, as my driveway has a big hill, which is tough for a CC to carry much material up. Then I'll smooth it out w/ the landscape rake and my 782.

This is my DIY landplane,, I use it for my 1200 feet of driveway,,



It has 7 foot scraper blades out of a CATERPILLAR motor grader,,



I do not know if a sleeve hitch would pull it,,
Hmmmmmmmm,,,

Do you find one blade to be enough or do
You use a multi blade option? I see you have slots for three.

I may build a Cub sized box or maybe land leveller style.

You're making me miss my IH 284. Sold it before the holidays, buyer just picked it up today.

That's alright, a Ford 2120 HSS 4x4 took its spot.

I have been wanting a vintage pull type grader but either they are expensive or completely worn out and rusted to the point of unusable
I would love to make a mini version 48-60” or so
I am not overly motivated as my neighbor has a track doctor for his 4020 and does my drive once a year but I am thinking I can make a cool retro unit
