123 Tie rod
Long story short: previous owner must have ran in to something, messed up the steering knuckles. He sort-of fixed it, but it has never been right.
I think one or both of the steering knuckles are tweaked, not sure which. But I think I could make a decent repair if I knew the length of the tie rod that goes between the knuckles... part number IH-384632-R1.... (I am not at the tractor at the moment to measure). I might be able to fix it OK with a tie rod that is an inch or so longer than original. Currently, the tie rod ends are holding on to just enough threads to keep them on. I will also try to straighten the knuckle(s).

The best fix is to repair the steering knuckles and keep the tie rod stock. If not feasible, maybe make or get someone to make a tie rod extension? Or make a new one from rod stock...
