Handy air lift table
well after much searching and debating i pulled the trigger on a 1500 lb air operated handy lift table. originally it was 80 by 48 inches,but the previous owner had a repair shop and welded on extensions. since i plan on using this for more thenn just tractors,i removed the sides and am in the process of fabricating them so they will be removable. i did pay a bit more then i wanted to,but i think its worth it. no more fixing stuff on a cold damp garage floor in the winter. i will post pics once i finish

i agree,its built way better then the harbor freight model. i,m happy i finally got one. patience is the key,expect to pay 5-600 minimum for a decent used one.

i have made progress on the side extensions for the lift table,i am about 3/4 done with welding and fabrication. picked up the paint today,and hope to have it done and painted this weekend. pics to follow

i used 1 inch pipe for the cross bars,they are pinned on for easy removal. i also welded angle iron to the front of the ramps as a tire stop. i am working on customizing a car scissor jack for use with the table. i,m not into spending 100 dollars when my 3 dollar jack and some fabrication will work.
