ooops all better
After modifying the block to fit the frame last winter the starter broke off after a few starts.
 A block of wood made it last through the season. now I had time to make a better fix. Bolted a plate on the front of starter and to a spot on the block,also added support on back of starter. Works good now don't need block of wood wedged in between starter and oil filter.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
