Default Manual front end loader?

Hi everyone! I have a manual front end loader bucket attachment for my '75 Cub 1000. I haven't used it and I'm currently trying to figure out how it works and if I have all the components for it. I believe it is an IH. I will post pics when I get a chance. Thanks

I don't know what you mean by "manual front end loader". Need pictures.

Manual front loader is when you sit on the hood with a shovel and an operator drives for you

I think what he got is one of those lever operated scoops.
Maybe something like this..

ol'George, I think they are about the equivalent to what you were describing

For what this particular guy is doing it seems to be a little better than a shovel. Not bad. But i think I would rather have an actual FEL but don't really need one with having a skid steer.

Anyway. Enjoy the video

🤣lol. Yes true about the shovel! Also, yes it's a lever operated bucket, but from the 70s probably. Just wondering if anyone has experience with older lever operated buckets? Lol thanks

Show us a picture of the unit please. And is there a tag on it? Who made it?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
