I'm in Ball Ground, GA. There are a few other members scattered around the state too.
There should be a plow day coming up in a month or so in the Greenville, SC area. I'll post it up in the "Cub Cadet Events" section when I get more info.

Boy talking about opening up an old post.
It's been a while, but I'm still doing the Cubs. Actually, purchased a Dirksen building a few years back to house them all in. I'm pulling them out one at a time and getting them going again. The 1650 Fired right up, the 70 fired right up, but had to tune. The Original fired up, but needs carb attention. Haven't dug out the 122 yet, but once I iron out the other problems the 122 will be in line. Were in Loganville, GA and plan on being here for a while.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
