Default Super Lawn Tractor?

So I've heard of the Super Garden Tractors, but not a super Lawn tractor? Appears there is the 1500 series SLT made around the late 2000s.

They look weird with lawn tractor front wheels, garden tractor rear wheels, Courage engines, and a front bumper from the later XT2/3 series tractors.

I know the SGTs were bigger and beefier, is the same true for the SLT? Or is it just another marketing gimmick to sell what is ultimately a LT with bigger rear wheels and a nice bumper?

NEVER heard of a "super" lawn tractor, nor do I think they exist. The term "super" in garden tractor terms, have a certain criteria. A lawn tractor, by any stretch, does NOT meet that criteria. I think it is a play on words.

It's hard to believe, but they do in fact exist: https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/prior...AQ11BP756.html

I'm just wondering what market this is intended for?

Parts special huh? Sounds like that "Heavy Duty" LT 2042 I posted about a while back. Another weird LT/GT hybrid machine to get rid of the leftover parts from production before the new line comes out?

As with anything, it's all about marketing, need to look at the actual specs before spending any $$$

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
