Back with a new to me, Cub Cadet
Got a 107 today. It's in decent condition except the hood needs to be straightened and adjusted. It was local and the price was right.
The hydro does not creep and the brake works. I have a 123 also but the brake won't put the hydro unit in neutral. When i went to look at this 107 i put a battery in it and some gas and it fired right up. Came with a 42" deck also, it has a few small holes in it. i'll add it to my deck collection lol. not sure if the pto is out of adjustment or broken. ran out of daylight. Been a while since i posted here. the cubs got stored when I had to move in 2017, finally getting around to them again. found this 107 looking for parts lol. My trusty toyota did a fine job hauling it home.

Nice (and full) haul! I like that rig.
It's amazing the 123 linkage ever worked. What a complicated mess it is (and it doesn't age well)

Thanks.
can thank the 2146 my dad left me for this lol the mower deck broke at the front mounts and i had to get out the old cubs to mow the grass. the 123 was in the way of the 72 with the mower. and the 72 won't start lol. the ignition switch went bad. found this 107 looking for parts lol. I gotta stop buying tractors and buy more implements. and not mower decks, i got a huge pile of them!

I saw the listing for the 107 was a month old and the price was 300 obo so i thought it would be sold but i sent a message anyway and it was available. got it for $260. The 86 toyota is a nice truck to load small tractors because it sits so low. the deck had to come off but i had to remove the deck to get a cub cadet on the 95 dakota also. i have a 89 f-250 4x4 but it gets 5 mpg lol

Just got back from a road trip to Hauck Enterprises.
Little over 5 hours round trip. I'm broke now for a while. Got a 1A tiller with one extension, a 3 point hitch and spring assist for the 107, A pto rebuild kit for the 107 and a steering gear assembly for the 71 that was my Pop Pop's. got 20 mpg in the van. https://www.instagram.com/p/CdHRJZoF0Lt/

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
