Default Worth of a 2182

I have a 2182 with 3 cylinder Kubota and 460 hours on the clock, it starts and runs great. No smoke or leaks anywhere on the engine or under the tractor. It does seem like the steering cylinder is leaking but I just purchased a new one. the mowing deck works great. I just need to know what to ask for it because I need the space in my garage. I live in Indianapolis Indiana, and my e-mail is builder7860@sbcglobal.net. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, Jeff

Thank you Mike, but i will probably keep using it for that amount. It still runs and cuts good. I know this is a old tractor forum but I am looking for a zero turn and I don't have room for both of them.

If it runs good and looks decent my guess is $1200-$1500.00. Pics would help.

See that Jeff, Mike wasn't to far off, why not split it with him?

I sold three 2182's in the past year and a half or so. They were as nice as you will find far above average. I got over $2700.00 for all 3. All three sold within weeks. They have been the fastest selling tractors I have sold.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
