1650 build
Hello guys! Been a long time since I posted here but wanted to share the updates done to my 1650. This process began when the engine literally shook itself out of the frame. So far I have done the cradle mod, added rear 6-12 duals, front tri ribs, added suitcase weights, made a custom lower grille, began work on the engine and updating the wiring harness. The deck gauge wheels will be modified to fit with the duals. Hopefully when the weather warms up ill be able to keep a steady pace on the work it needs including paint and decals. Tell me what you all think and here are the pics!

Looks good! Like your seat, that's what I was thinking of doing. I have the brackets to connect the arm rest to the seat. I like the duals. The narrow tires look good.

Looks good but there's to much space between the tires for my tastes, your dual adapters look like there for 10.50 wide tires.

Thank you guys for the kind replys! The seat is a replacement seat for the Farmall 06 and 56 series tractors and is very comfortable! I like how it looks and rode good with the narrow front tires before it was parked for repairs. The dual spacers are from xtreme motor works for the 6-12 wheels. I wanted a kind of row crop look just to be different lol and flipped the inside wheels backwards to change the spacing. Look at my avitar and you will the same duals in the "correct" spacing on my 108. If it wasnt so cold outside I would out there now doing more work on it. Once spring hits ill begin my paint and decal work and continue posting updates until then.

I get all of mine from mid west super cub. They have three different kinds I think. Mine are the aluminum "fake" weights but all together its an additional 55lbs of weight to my tractor including the steel bracket I fabed up from scrap. I want to redo the bracket itself at some point but it works pretty good for now. Hope this helps!

I like the spacing, looks like a long axle 56/66 series you would see down here with rice and canes. I think a little taller tire might be slightly better for me, but I like it. I bet that seat is nice!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
