Dang! Good thing we don't have anything like that down here. I'd be like a kid in a toy store at Christmas time. Lots of good looking stuff, wonder what prices they'll be getting?

I wonder if the "fringed umbrella" is a ROPS umbrella? That would be nice to have, but I don't know about that "Brinkley" plow, never heard of that brand. Ok, Uncle Lew.....I will have to live vicariously through you on this one since it is too far away. Can't wait to see what you score! Thanks for posting this for those that are closer.

A friend of mine from CT went -- and came back with four machines plus many decks and other attachments. One of the machines I purchased, an unrestored, very early 682 CCC machine. From what I was told, it was a bonanza. All IH (or affiliated), great people, great prices (think 60% of a CL price), great selection of equipment and items. Pics coming later in the week. I may try to get to Ohio in 17.

My friend Joe also added that he met the "King of Cub Cadets", which from what I can gather from him, was a surreal, experience, like meeting the Pope at the alter.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
