I see rods with the same part number some have an 09 on the end number. Some a 13. Is there some difference?

I don't know where you are getting the "-13" from, but it is for the Magnum series engines. If someone told you it would work, there are probably misinformed.

The "-09" is the correct one, as previously stated.
