front axle bolt?
At some point in my 1650's life the front axle bolt had to be cut off. In doing so they messed up the steel bushing,sleeve or bearing (don't now what to call it). It's attached to the frame, is there a replacement part for this?

Wild Bill, thanks for the reply, nothings ever easy is it! The pivot pin and coil spring part are gone, there is a nut and bolt in it now. The bolt is tight in the bushings like it should be. The bolt seems short as some of the threads are in the bushing. I guess my real problem is that the messed up bushing has been cut on an angle and I wanted to tighten it up to help take out some slack in my steering. I think if I tighten as is it will distort the cross member, I could also be wasting my time, after all im only cutting grass!
