Looking for ideas on applying Maple Hunter decal on dash tin .
Cut out each individual section or apply as a whole ? How about
covering the what's left of the original ? Remove all traces or cover
whats there ?

Hi there hydrocub! I asked on here about this awhile back and what I'm gonna try if I don't find a replacement is this here is what i was told to do mask off the silver trim around the outside and middle then paint with textured undercoating,peel off the masking and take the decals from the dash decal and cut out the cub cadet part and put onto the dash. Hope this helps some!

Thanks for the reply . I remember your post bocephus . I believe I will try
to cut out and apply the Maple Hunter decals as I already have them . If that
doesn't work I will try the paint .

I tape off the shiny trim on the edges and middle and also tape off the small areas that the decals will be placed (any textured coating on those areas will interfere with the decal application). I also use a spray can of truck bed liner instead of undercoating. The bed liner is more of a paint and dries well with good durability. If you have any extra pin stripping tape you can use that to cover the shiny edges, easier to do corners and thin so you can get the center strip done without cutting masking tape into thin strips. Good luck and take you time doing it.

Wanted to let everyone know that the Maple Hunter decals DO adhear to
the dash tin . I had to trim them out . So...we'll see abot the durabilty .
