1211 and 1872 Super Tiller Swap?
I have a 1872 and found a 1211 with a 2B tiller setup that also has a cat O three point. Will this setup work on my 1872? Not too familiar with these models. Still learning. Thanks

It should work. That adapter from sleeve hitch to cat 0 is crazy insane rare. Be sure to hold on to it and take some pics for us. The only thing you'll need is a longer belt. You'll have to try to figure out what size though since I doubt anyone here has ever tried to put a sleeve hitch tiller on a super. You might try using a string to get a idea of the belt length.

I havent bought the 1211. One reason is he wants too much $$$$ in my opinion. He is asking $1000 for the 1211 and tiller, which is fine but the motor is shot. I like the idea of having a tiller for the super, and the cat O hitch option, but not at that price. I may see if he would seperate them.

Depending on the cat 0 set up you have I dont know if the adapter brackets for the tiller gear box will work with the super style cat 0 hitch set up, if you have the GT style hitch on your super (like what xtreme motor works sells) then the adapter brackets should work with that then all you need to do is find a belt that will work. That is kind of a rare set-up I would like to see some pictures of the brackets if you get it. Wally

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
