That's sweet Ken. Is that a 59P? I'm thinking $350 to $450.

I don't think it will get the money a tractor powered unit would, i've seen several of the same unit in green paint selling for $100 to $150 and i'm not sure if the IH decals and yellow paint will add much value or not.

Come on Tim, that IH decal and yellow paint must add 200% to the price. Haha!

I am with Tim on this one. If you had the front mount one you will get 350.00 easy.

It might for all i know, i was just pointing out that it may not be as desirable as a tractor mounted unit. yours looks to be in nice shape, hopefully you find anIH collector that just has to have it.

the front mount unit must be more collectable. but as far as usability nothing beats just wheeling out this one, firing it up, and start shredding. having to deal with the not so QA is kind of a pain. but to each his own.

ill add the reason im looking to sell this one off is because i have the same one in green with the side chute for limbs.

Ken, I agree, I bought one off CL for $65.00 and thought it was all it was worth. That machine has been so handy I would give $300. for it now without question. I guess it's a matter of waiting for the right person, and the yeller and white color won't hurt anything either.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
