Volunteers?
I'm new here. Hi!
Is there a forum here where us guys who have Cub Cadet Volunteers normally post? Or are there only like 5 or 6 of us?

I don’t think there are a lot of people on here that have them, so unfortunately you may not get much help. I would just post about it right here in the “General Talk” section. I’m sure someone would do their best to help you out.

Yeah I was having issues finding some parts for it. Got it sorted now. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find the parts I needed. It needs both steering rack boots and two CV joint boots.
I found and installed the driver's side steering rack boot (costed like $70+). Then I found the passenger side steering boot for $18.00 through Summit Racing through a part number cross-reference. Will probably install it this weekend. CV boots have been ordered and delivered (both were like $75 apiece). It's just frustrating to see what looks like the same CV boot for other SXS makes for under $20.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
