Default May Have Been Infected From Visiting This Site

I posted my first thread here this weekend about a new 2100 with a problem. I received many helpful responses - thanks. I also spent some time site surfing and viewing dozens of REALLY cool old Cubs (just look at Zippy1's CC 100 on his profile picture! wow!). Later I found that my computer was on eBay showing me old Cub 100's for sale. This morning the computer went to Craigs List postings for vintage Cub Cadets... Have I been infected with something?

I'm sorry but cubby102 is wrong on this one: there is no hope for control. I started with one lawn tractor and now I have two more garden tractors and my yard is filling with implements and toys. get out now while you still can!

Edit that was only about 2 months ago I bought my first cub. So that comes out to about one a month haha

NOPE no cure. Between my Dad and I we own 8 garden tractors and are looking to add more as time and $ allow BUT there is no turning back. LOL.

Yeah, Alan's right about the Red Fever. I thought I was immune, and that the Yellow Fever was all I was going to suffer from, but someone dumped a poor Red one off here at the house, and now I have 3...

Thanks for the complement.
Now for your addiction.
As the others have wrote, there is no cure, so the best thing to do is just let it take over all your free time, no need to fight it. It's a loss cause.
There is allot of good that comes with the addiction though. You meet some great people with the same problem you have. You have extra tractors to do your work if one breaks down, or your not in the mood to change attachments. And my wife likes it when I'm home in the shop where I can't get in trouble
In the end, I would say your normal, I think your on the same path that most of us have traveled.
Welcome to the yellow, beige and red family.

That's how it was for me also, Tom. Then I got the 782!

After 20 some years and more than 20 (but less than 25) running, driving Cub Cadets, it is my contention that anyone who doesn't have a barn/shed/garage/yard, full of Cub Cadets to be the ones who are REALLY sick.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
