Electric clutch for CH20 ?
I purchased a CH20 for a replacement engine some time back. It has the double pulley and tensioner system instead of a electric clutch. Will I need somthing like this to fit it up to my 782 or 2072?
CL listing in case that did not work. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/grd/4400586822.html |

Yes...I believe the models you referenced had a 4 1/2 electric PTO pulley. those look to be 6 inch...

I was not clear enough, here is a pic of what I am concerned with. It certainly wont run my current 782 implements. So I guess my real question is if the CL posted clutch might be an electric clutch to fit my CH20. Pulley size is no concern, actuallyl a plus to go 6 inch. I will change ratios as needed. I may not know until I pull this PTO apart...

So I decided to pick up both he had. Figure one might be of use elsewhere. Starting to concern about this CH20 as a donor engine. Might be best to find a appropriate M18 for when the KT17 dies. Think I did figure out the donor in my pic must be
a 3206. The PTO is called an E-VAC. I did not know that. Or that it came with diff lock. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
