Default Hydraulic Plow

I have a 1994 1641 which only has a hydraulic lift for the snow blade. Has anyone made a conversion to make it a 4 way plow? I'm pretty good mechanically but lack some hydraulic experience.

On the 1641, you can install a 42" or 54" dozer blade:

42 = 190-375
54 = 190-376

Either way, you will need a sub frame 190-377, or 190-316 Sub Frame (on Tractor S/N: 821,101 >)

For Hydraulic Angle, you will need:
* 190-378 Hyd Angle Kit
* 759-3493 Front Outlet Kit

I have the Hyd Angle Kit , but I need to find the front outlet kit. Does that outlet kit come with a 4 way valve for left/ right operations and a control stick too?

In 2001
the price was 311.93.
Still a bargain, by the time you find all the used parts that need new parts.

You could get a JD double valve and have two hoses made up to go to the front.

Or mount a cheap two spool valve and take the return oil off the tractors existing valve. Although you only need one more, a two spool only cost a couple bucks more and is the same work to mount. Then you have a spare circuit for something else. Just plug it till you do.

I'll e-mail you the Cyclops service manual. The instructions about how to install the extra valve and front outlets are found on page 7-28 through 7-36

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
