Default No Cub Cadets were harmed in the process
I cut up this B&S engine to help explain 4 stroke motors to my 10 year old grandson. He has big shoes to fill coming from three previous generations of auto mechanics. Not me; wife's family.
If he's not interested at least I enjoyed making it. All parts rotate, valves open/close when turning the hand crank.

Now how cool is that.....Something the industrial technology classes could really use in the schools!! Great idea. Nothing like hands on learning.....and that's the best way to study sex education, too, but heck that is another story.

All kiddin' aside, I hope your grandson learns a lot from it and appreciates the mechanics of an engine. Who knows where that might lead him in the future.... Again, takes a whole village to raise a child, as we are all responsible for our future.

That's cool! Last year at the redpower roundup they had a farmall cub that was cut away by IH engineers on display. It was pretty amazing to see!

good for you...great teaching tool... i have my kids out there all the time when i have motors apart... they just like the idea of an explosion turning into rotational energy....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
