Troybilt cultivating rototiller by Gardenway
I was given an older Troybilt rototiller made by Gardenway and am trying to find information and owner's manuals for it. It has a tecumseh engine. The serial number is hc 004011 and another number of tc200-2026D 90386. I tried the Troybilt website and the MTD website without any luck. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks,

Also the is a Yahoo Group forum for these machines. I got one with the Kohler 7hp motor and love it. Nice machines!

Thank you, I had tried those pages previously, but my rototiller is not a horse. it is a small cultivating rototiller made for Troy-bilt by Gardenway. I think it is older than the manuals listed on those pages. thanks for your assistance. jason

Pat,
Nice looking tillers. I'd love to get mine running so I can cultivate the garden this year with it...but so much to do and so little time! Don't know when I am going to get a chance to work on it. probably just needs a good carb cleaning. thanks for sharing your pictures. Jason

I had to do a LOT of work on the Horse, new carb, 2 tire tubes, rebuilt engine, gas tank was leaking and very rusted. Trans was full of water and oil.
But after all that, it runs great, it tills up the dirt and asks for more.

Troy-Bilt user group
There is a Troy-Bilt user group on Yahoo groups. Its owned and modered by Mr. Bill Rodgers a former TB Engineer. I think he bought the remaining supply of parts the company had on hand when they closed the doors. Bill can furnish advice for most any situation and has parts on hand. He's an excellent source for help, as well as the rest of the group.
I have 4 of these critters, like a Timex, they take a licking and keep on ticking. You can get manuals for them from, both tiller and engines from this website also. My Horse models have the HH60 Tecumseh engine on them. The first one I bought had sat outside for years without being started and looked pretty pitiful. I paid $100. for it, rebuilt the carburetor, cleaned out the carbon on the head, replaced some seals in the transmission rearend, and have used it hard every since. When I put it back together it started on the second pull. Talk about happy.... Dave in SW Missouri
