Default Hydro linkage slop

Hey all,

I've been working on getting some things done to my 1250 lately and I've moved on to the hydro linkage. It has quite a bit of slop and play in it. I ordered some shims for the trunion bracket and will tackle that on Monday, when they get to me. As i was taking a look at the trunion are i noticed the "bracket" or whatever u call it right before the trunion area has some play in it. It likes to wiggle around. I will probably have to shim that also. Does anyone know what size ID I need to get for the shims? Shimming seems like the only solution i can think of. I will put some pics of the location I'm talking about.

Well I just tore into it and I do not need to repkace the cam assembly. Nothing is wore on it and all is well with it. But what I did find is the pivot bushing is worn. Its #8 in the diagram. So i will be replacing that asap so i can get my machine going for some stone hauling next week.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
