Gasoline vapor venting from my shed?

I have a new 10 x 20 wooden shed. It has 2 gable vents. The gasoline vapors are terrible after the shed has been closed up. Currently I open both windows in the front, the 60" doors in the front and the 36" door on the side and place a large fan at the 36" door blowing in. The windows remain open about 4" during the day and night. We have a refrig in the shed are thinking about putting the upright freezer out there too. I'm concerned about a possible spark causing a fire. Haz location exhaust fans start at $800.00. I was thinking about an exhaust fan blowing into the shed. The shed has no eave vents, but I'm not sure they would help. Any ideas?

You need to find out why you have gas vapors and fix that issue.

From reading the post I would think that there is an underground gasoline pipe that he needs to tap off of?

I didnt see any reference of gasoline powered equipment...

Is there a major base or airport nearby that has an underground system running through your property?

Need more info to conclude what may be causing the problem as Sam stated.

Are you storing your fuel containers in this shed?

Remove them and see what happens.

Gas cans are stored outside. The only reason I can think of for the vapors is the clear plastic cover on the gas gauge is missing. Our sponsor's say the gauges are not for use with E-10 gas so I haven't purchased a new one. I leave the gas turned on to the carb, but there are no leaks that I can find. The dual stick 1450 and Bolens push mower & an empty Echo chainsaw are stored inside. The single stick 1450 is sold and parked outside. Sorry I forgot to say what power equipment was inside.

Gas vapours hang out down low. On need a vent like 12-18" off the floor

Odds are something is leaking on your 1450. It doesn't take much of a leak to have a gas smell. Besides the gas gauge several places to look is the rubber groment where the fuel shut off valve goes into the tank, shut off valve itself, fuel line and float in carb.

I never heard of a gas gauge that shouldn't be used with E-10. I'd find me a different parts supplier.
