Default More parts!

Spied an ad for Cub parts on the Craiglist earlier this afternoon. Rear rims without tires, 2 right angle gear boxes, other parts, and CAST IRON WHEEL WEIGHTS! The price was less than usual price for cast cub weights. After a quick text to owner for a picture of the weights I received a picture of Cub Cadet Cast Iron wheel weights. I spoke for the items and bolted out the door as fast as I could! Had the boy with me (3.75 years old) with snacks and DVD player with movies. Hauled a$$ 2 hours north to claim my winnings!!! Unfortunately the Danco gear box double pulley is damaged . The green Deere snowblower chute was mated to a Cub base. I thought it was all certainly worth the drive!

Thanks Todd.

I had told Todd earlier I snapped this stuff up for a Benjamin. The muffler is supposedly off a KT-17 from a 782. The gentleman was very nice. Said he has had the stuff for years and just wanted the garage cleaned up a bit.

The rims are not new. They say Firestone 12x7 on the inside tube/ tire surface. Are they even Cub rims??

And Lew, without a doubt I am certain you have the South, East, West, and North covered!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
